The amazing 3 weeks late summer season review

Yeah I’m a little late, I was waiting for baccano and realized it wouldn’t be broadcasted until today. But I blame Communism for my lateness, Communism and Horatio Caine (damn him to hell). So let’s get going…

Moetan

I seriously don’t see what everyone is complaining about, I mean there’s nothing wrong with this show. I mean look at the picture, she’s clearly seventeen. She even has facial hair, so it’s alright right? Anyway the best part about this series is clearly the duck, never has there been a Duck as Gar as him. I cried manly tears when he fought the cat, never will there be a manlier duck….ever. Yeah I’m definitely watching this.

Nanatsuiro Drops

Again, I don’t see anything wrong with this show. Judging from that picture she’s CLEARLY older than sixteen. This show is clearly some sort of test to evaluate the potential of moe as a weapon of mass destruction. I almost died of moe overdose multiple times while watching it. Luckily I can preform triple heart bypasses with kitchenware, so I survived. Also the character designer is Noizi Ito, SO YOU SHOULD WATCH IT FOR YOUR OWN GOOD!!!! Still I can’t help but noticing that the game is better, the game was…deeper *cough* H-scenes *cough*. Well I’m still watching it despite that HUGE shortcoming.

Doujin Work

Lolis (who are clearly University students) drawing doujin? I approve of this! The manga is better because it’s waaaaaay more wrong, but this is still good. I laughed my ass off with the first 3 episodes. Well there’s not much I can tell about this series without spoiling the jokes. Looks like I’ll be watching this.

Zombie Loan

The best thing about this show is that I don’t have to write anything here! If you can’t guess my opinion of it, you might be an idiot.

School Days

Now this series feels like one bad flashback to me. Instead of explaining why I’ll just distract you guys to change the subject.

ASS!

‘N TITTIES!

This series just makes me want to punch my screen every time the main character is onscreen, on the other hand…ass ‘n titties. Hmmm guess I’ll have to rate it positively. Well for those of you who haven’t played the game; if this ends like the game it’ll be well worth the pain. So looks like I’m watching this too.

Sayonara Zetsubo Sensei

Oh I like this show, mainly because I liked Moonphase and negima?! (the good version not the cancer inducing version). The main character is my kinda guy: he depresses the hell out of everybody and is extremely pessimistic. Did I mention all the girls are super-moe and the show’s extremely funny? Could use MOAR FANSERVICE though…everything does. Soooo guess I’ll watch this too.

Potemayo

OH GOD THERE’S TOO MUCH MOE. Also did that midget just SHOOP DA WOOP?! I think it did. Anyway I don’t know what the hell this anime is about after 3 episodes. I think it’s about midgets? Anyway I was too busy focusing on the moe to notice any plot. Also…

Why Is that girl so awesome! Must track down doujins of her! I’m watching this because of her!

CODE-E

I really like the girls in this series, in fact the girls are the ONLY part I like about this series. The story is kinda boring till now but I guess I’ll watch it and hope it gets better. Some parts were pretty funny. Also if the girl on the picture turns out to be tsundere you can be sure I’ll watch this.

Higurashi no Naku Koroni Kai

This season is even more scary than the last. I was watching episode 3 and suddenly I heard the voice of none other than YUI HORIE. She’s in goddamn everything! It scared the shit out of me! I said it before and I’ll say it again, she must have some huge army of clones at her disposal. Soon she’ll rule the world! Anyway if you’re wondering, OF COURSE I’M WATCHING THIS.

Zero no Tsukaima: Futatsuki no Kishi

FREUDE, SCHÖNER GÖTTERFUNKEN, TOCHTER AUS ELYSIUM, WIR BETRETEN FEUERTRUNKEN. HIMMLISCHE, DEIN HEILIGTUM! DEINE ZAUBER BINDEN WIEDER WAS DIE MODE STRENG GETEILT; ALLE MENSCHEN WERDEN BRÜDER WO DEIN SANFTER FLÜGEL WEILT. That about sums it up

Looks like I’ll be watching everything AGAIN this season *sigh*. And nothing seems to be ending so you guys will have to wait, because at this rate I won’t be writing posts about entire series anytime soon.

Higurashi: Fun for the whole Family!

We here at Moegar (We being just me) care deeply about the children, so today I’ll be discussing the perfect anime to watch together your entire family on a cold winter day: Higurashi no Naku Koro ni. Higurashi is the story of Keiichi; a boy who recently moved to Hinamizawa, a quiet rural village. And there he makes new friends and through many hardships he learns the true meaning of friendship.

True friends always help each other out, even if it consists of disposing of black plastic bags.

Now this wouldn’t be moegar if I didn’t check out the characters…so here I go.

Maebara Keiichi

Keiichi is just your average guy. Always calm and composed, and quite good with a baseball-bat. Something he’s very willing to show to his friends. Through him your children will learn how to handle stressful situations and how to sort out differences with their friends.

Sonozaki Mion & Shion

Twin sisters, trough them your children will learn how to handle differences among siblings and through shion they’ll learn how to handle the loss of a loved one. Mion is a very good role-model for your children, being so young and already helping a lot in her family “business”. She’ll help your children make a career decision later in life.

Ryuuguu Rena

A local girl, through her your children will learn how to handle a possible divorce and how to treat their stepparents. She’ll also teach your children creative uses for a kitchen timer and a gutter.

Furude Rika & Houjou Satoko

Through them your children will learn errrr…hmmmmmm…stuff? Yeah they’ll learn stuff, lots of stuff. I guarantee it.

Yes your kids will have lots of fun filled hours watching Higurashi. Might I add that Ideally you should lock them up in the room containing the TV, hide the remote and make sure they can’t reach the TV. Also tape their eyes open and tie their hands behind their back to make sure they’ll enjoy Higurashi to the fullest. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to check out if my little nephew is still tied up in the TV room.

The best moments of Sola

I didn’t quite know what to write here without spoiling everything. Considering Sola is so full of plot twists that avoiding spoilers in this post would be quite hard, I just made a photo collage of the best moments:

All seriousness aside, I was quite disappointed by Sola. The ending really sucked ass, and there was a big lack of Koyori x Mayuko yuri. Now if you’ll excuse me…I’m gonna search the internet for Koyori x Mayuko yuri.
