Aroduc | A tale of CSS selectors.

Hohohoho, yes I do like inside jokes in my post titles. That or i’m just mad. I managed to feast on BBQ for lunch today which was oddly timed but delicous. Onwards now! I interviewed Aroduc of Tenka Seiha with some burning questions. He was gracious enough to reply and to also draw a picture. I think there should be a fan club but sagematt probably has dibs already.

It Begins!

1. Your name of course is Aroduc. Let’s not beat around the bush. Why do you love Jubei?

Amazing direction and choreography, excellent pacing, very unusual and offbeat humor, excellent music, and the Siberian Snuggler.

2. Would you agree that J2 is possibly the best animation to come from that season/year?

Let’s be fair. Winter 2004 wasn’t exactly the height of anime. It was up against… uh… Burn Up Scramble and the nonsensical half of Read or Die TV. However, 2004 was overall an awesome year… just not until the summer. It’s certainly my favorite, but I don’t know if it’s the out and out best of 2004.

3. If you had a lovely eye patch would you share it with sagematt?

Anything to make him more presentable.

5. I don’t like 4 so straight to 5. If you were given a budget of $10,000USD for seiha.org specifically, what would be a bullet list of changes you “might” make.

Well, at the moment, it certainly needs a server upgrade. Otherwise, I already do pretty much whatever I want with the site right now honestly, so aside from alleviating the server issues, I might try to create my own conglomerate in some form or another, or maybe try to launder it in some way into some translation and/or localization projects that I don’t have the time (or expertise) for.

6. I do like 4. So i’ll ask two questions now. If you were to meet another anime blogger from #ab who would it be. If you were to meet a second person from #ab why would you hit them?

I don’t see Kabitzin around too much anymore, but he and I have the Alma Mater thing going, so I’m sure we could trade horror stories about Ithaca. Otherwise… hmmm… Sage and Totali both seem like pretty okay guys, but I don’t think either would be able to keep up in serious Quarters play.

I’d hit them because I need to establish myself as the alpha male of the pack.

7. Do you own/rent/lease/borrow/steal a pet?

I am currently the general caretaker of a sheltie and a miniature labradoodle.

8. Does Totali really suck? If so why does he eat cats.

Only when the moon is in the seventh hour.

I assume because he gets hungry.

9. Will you ever worship a Spatula Diety?

Sorry. I’m Orthodox Norse. Odin would smite me… if the frost giants hadn’t already killed him.

Well, I think so, but shouldn’t we shave the pigs first?
