Bleach - 192

This screen is from HorribleRaw’s release of the episode, that’s why the quality’s low and grainy.
Synopsis

Nell Transforms into an adult, more mature looking form and fights Nnoitra, getting Ichigo out of harms way first. Nnoitra fires a cero and Nell uses her ability, the double cero, and swallows his cero and adds hers in the mix making a powerful explosion but Nnoitra survives and prepares to take on Nell yet again.

This episode was poorly directed, it had bad looking & dis proportioned characters, laggy & reused frames and 40% of it was a recap of episode 191. but most importantly it was Tomoko Kaneda’s voice that delivered the final blow into this episode’s verdict. She is quite bad at doing Neliel Tu’s adult form voice.

That’s what C.C. said

Salutations, while mellow is busy working like mad for the upcoming mellow space redesign I’ve made an effort to write an epic post depicting some key points in Code Geass R2. Regarding Lelouch I’ll follow the rule that suggests that every geass character (except Rivalz) has 2 lives, and at least one of these will be used through the series. I was expecting Sunrise to throw up something like a new Geass user out of nowhere and then hang up the series until who knows when, but surprised to say the Final Turn really wraped things up and tied most of the loose ends.

Looking at geass from a general point of view both seasons were great, that is of course if you manage to forgive some flaws, for example a ridiculous amount of deux ex machina throughout the series that generated the most improbable scenarios you would’ve though of, here some of the more recent ones: Read more…

The status report

That's how I play it

That's how it's really played

The Quick Word

In my constant battle against procrastination, I’ve been able to bring myself to finish this post which as a matter of fact, was scheduled for publishing 2 days ago but alas my laziness got the better of me. I’m also to blame my continuous meddling with Hotel Dusk: Room 215, Final Fantasy Tactics A2 and Final Fantasy IV DS. For those of you who haven’t heard of/played these titles and own a DS handheld (or emulator) you might wanna take a quick look at them.

In regards to anime, While I’ve been watching some current season series such as World Destruction, Code Geass R2 and so on, I’ve also made efforts to watch some old series that for some unfortunate reason I didn’t watch when they were airing, I though I’d write about them. These are Mushishi and Inukami!

World Destruction - Prologue of the end

So it’s about time I show my face and post something after all this time, hopefully start doing this more often too. This time around I’ll talk about World Destruction a new anime series by Sega and Geneon based on an upcoming DS game of the same name, slated for July release.

As obvious as it is, World destruction is about… Destroying the world~. The story starts introducing us to its particular universe, the planet is now covered in mass regions of Sand and it’s now populated not only by humans, but beastmen as well with some racial conflicts between them. The story develops around two entities, one is the World destruction Committee and thus the other is the World Salvation Committee. The heroes which I can’t say much about are strangely inclined towards the destruction of the world, These are: Morte Ashera, A Blade wilding girl bend on destroying the world for unknown reasons, she plans to use The Destruc Code (A weird sphere) to achieve her means, She has the skills and the red hair too. Along her journey she encounters Kylie Ernest, a boy passing off as a beastman wearing nekomimi ears. He’s the main character with the classic hero characteristics like: zero fighting skills and reduced common sense, that could change as the story progresses. Because of his current state, he is saved my Kuma ( I don’t know if this is his real name) a detective from the “Heroes Guild”, he is the spitting image of a bear plushie nonetheless he can fight, real good.

So as in why I choose to write about this series… I don’t know, but I’ve taken a liking for it. I think it might be my love for post apocalyptic settings such as this one. There’s not much humor to go around and if you’re looking for ecchi anime this isn’t for you but if you like a refreshing change from your usual genres World Destruction may fit the bill. Keep in touch with MellowSpace for more, I’d like to hear people’s opinion about this so feel free to comment.

*Update*

His name is not Kyrie, it’s “Kylie” as shown by official trailers.

KureNai 01 - Climatic Night

Sorry I’m late for the party, but it’s better late than never. As mellow stated before I’m the new blogger here at mellow space and this is in fact the first post I’m gonna publish. I lacked caffeine, needed sleep and was hungry when I wrote this so feel free to point out any incoherence with the actual show.

Kurenai 01 - Climatic Night

Shinkurou Kurenai is a high school student who lives alone in a one room apartment, he possesses some kind of fighting body he adquired (I don’t know why or how). He lives of jobs as a “negotiator” as he called himself which involves whipping out some random thugs designated by his employer. this time around his employer is a woman, Juusawa Benika along with Yayoi her assistant. She seems to hold a high place in society and performs all actions merely by intuition. One day she comes with an unusual offer: a seven year old girl wearing an expensive kimono whom he must protect. Why you’d ask? she’s being targeted. Reason? she got sprung out of her house for reasons not explained (at least not in episode 01).

The girl is Kuhouin Murasaki (the loli), a child that was raised in the middle of big family disputes. Since the age of five she was not permitted to leave her residence hence why she’s unaware of the true outside world and the commoner’s lifestyle. Her mother, Kuhouin Souju was mentioned dead in this episode though I’m not aware how that went, Murazaki was forced to accept Kazuko (couldn’t find out her last name) her father’s second wife as a mother. Murasaki obviously hates her for secluding her in that mansion and for causing pain to her real mother who she treated miserably. Now Murasaki’s staying under Shinkorou’s care. Either if he’s doing it for money or out of pity now He’s gonna have to deal living with her avoid her followers.

Kurenai 01 - Climatic Night

I can’t really tell Kurenai’s genre yet but in the mean time I’ll classify it as Drama. Kurenai is being developed by Brains Base studios
